Casa Grande in Schwerin

A very nicely located restaurant on the lake. Despite shortly before the kitchen closed, I got a warm meal with my daughter. Thumbs up and highly recommended. 👍👍👍

The food was delicious and the ambience is very nice. Outside on the terrace you have a direct view of the water. The restaurant and especially the service are very child-friendly. High chairs are also available for the little ones. We felt very comfortable and were served great. The restaurant comes highly recommended.

Very nice view, the ice cream was delicious too. A star deduction for the fact that the afternoon is closed (otherwise we would be there more often).

We would have liked to have expected more from the Italian in terms of pizza and pasta ... unfortunately the pizza was very wobbly and hardly had the expected taste ... too much tomato sauce too little of the main side dishes ... the ambience with the view of the marina and See and the friendly staff make up for it a little ... 😉

We celebrated our wedding day here today and it was just perfect! Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make it an unforgettable day! Incidentally, the table decoration was fantastic. Thank you for everything and we would love to come back.

The service was nice and attentive, but the vegetarian pizza had mushy vegetables, either canned, or the pickled stuff from the previous day. Almost cheeky to offer something like that. Never again!!!

I like going to Casa Grande very often. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and the portions are ok. The pizzas seem to come from a stone oven and are very large. However, you should reserve a table in season. The restaurant is usually very well attended.

Mediocre Italian with a beautiful view + Pros / Cons: + Very good service + Very good salad + Pasta flavored well + Bruschetta seasoned well and the right ratio of tomato bread + Nice large terrace, even with some glass protection against the wind + Very good location + Tiramisu very tasty (just a little too little mascarpone and a little too much cocoa, biscuit amaretto ratio but excellent and in a nice little bowl) + Food size appropriate - Relatively expensive for standard Italians -Bread a little too dry (not quite fresh) - Pasta slightly overcooked - Beef fillet seared too much (not light pink anymore, not soft enough) -Too little cheese on pizza -Right large blank margin - Bottom of pizza a little too crispy -Pizza not optimally seasoned Insider tip: If you want to eat inside and want to have a beautiful view of the lake, you should definitely call and reserve beforehand because there are only two seats directly at the window (and a large table for 6 people) - - - If this review was helpful for you, I would be very happy about a thumbs up here. I have been here multiple times with my partner and her family and every single time it has been fantastic. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff are very helpful. I can definitely sense a change in the chefs in the past year year and a half so I will give 4.

Terrible place! Went there and ordered a pasta "frutti di mare". I received a plate of rubber pieces that had been Scrimps/Scampis? for a long time ago. They were overcooked and dry, the dish was cold, and the "sauce like water with dried spices! When i tried to explain the chef, that a scrimp/scampi should be moist and not roasted for hours, she just told me, she had been doing so for 25 years!!! We left - i didn't get anything to eat - but still had to pay for my wife's dish all though she didn't eat that, because we had to leave after that experience. It was embarrassing to be there, and i can't recommend anyone to visit such a bad chef. The place was also noisy an chaotic so stay away - you are wasting god money on food, that you wouldn't serve to a dog. And the arrogance from the chef - no excuse or will to face the problem, just made it all even worse.

A great place, great staff, nice setup but horrible food unfortunately.
